Who grills the best steak? Who grills the best Burger? These and other titles will be on the line at the 4th Annual Kentucky's Fort Harrod Beef Festival held June 5-7,2009 at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

With today's changes, many farmers are getting away from raising tobacco and instead are supplementing their income with beef cattle. Kentucky has the largest inventory of beef cattle this side of the Mississippi and continues to grow. We are in the process of promoting and educating the public with the production, distribution, and selling of beef from the farm to the marketplace.
If you are looking for a fun, exciting and educational weekend full of activities, then the Fort Harrod Beef Festival is the place to be. This event is packed with the following:

Kentucky’s Fort Harrod Beef Festival Wins Award |
When the 2007 Kentucky Festival and Events Association was held in Louisvile, Kentucky the Beef Festival received first place for the Most Innovative or New Activity Award . The Beef Festival committee is currently planning this year’s festival, which will be held June 5-7, 2009.
