Who grills the best steak? Who grills the best burger? These and other titles will be on the line at the 7th Annual Kentucky's Fort Harrod Beef Festival- held June 1-2, 2012, at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The festival weekend is chocked full of activities for all age groups. The festival kicks off on Tuesday night with Cattle Crawl, a progressive dinner featuring beef cuisine from local restaurants. Friday night, the festival really gets going as teams fire up those grills to serve burger and sauce samples; while the crowd enjoys local musicians and KY Proud wine and cheese. Saturday has a wide range of events starting with a delicious, hearty Steak & Egg Breakfast and 5K Run/Walk. Teams will serve brisket and steak to attendees. Come out and listen to the talented musicians on the AgCredit Woodsong music stage, visit with local vendors, browse through the antique cars, and bring the kids out for some fun games! We will round out Saturday night with some very talented local musicians during a FREE concert for the public. We would love to have you join us as we celebrate Kentucky’s beef industry!
