We are already gearing up for the 2011 Kentucky’s Fort Harrod Beef Festival. Your past support has helped us to grow and become one of the important festivals held in Kentucky. We hope you will continue in your support of the festival and share in our excitement in celebrating community spirit and BEEF, the 3rd major commodity in Kentucky.
The festival will again be held at the Mercer County Fairgrounds on June 3-4, 2011. We expect between 25-35 teams to join in the Grill-Off (especially since we raised the prize money to $500.00 for 1st place in each category). Our attendance was up last year and we expect an even larger crowd in 2011 , consuming hundreds of pounds of beef brisket, burger and steak. Along with the price of purchasing the beef, we will incur many expenses such as advertising, entertainment, trophies, awards, signs, tents and other items.
We are offering sponsorships on 4 levels:
Platinum Sponsor $1,000.00 or more
Gold Sponsor $500.00
Silver Sponsor $250.00
Bronze Sponsor $100.00
Sponsors will be recognized on a banner displayed prominently at the Mercer County Fairgrounds, on our printed schedule distributed prior to the event and including that weekend, on materials with other printed ads and a yard sign stating that you are a sponsor of Kentucky’s Fort Harrod Beef Festival. We are expecting significant media coverage from major market areas, such as Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati.
We think the festival will be a great opportunity to advertise your business to thousands of people and receive a tax deduction as well.
